Hello!
On this page there is some info, who I am and what I do.
My name is Sebastian, I was born in 1992 and I live in Leipzig.
Since 2010 I'm already involved in digital photography and since 2012 I'm mainly doing portraits. If you click on "digital work" you will come to my other website.
At the end of 2020 I decided to say goodbye to digital photography. Of course, I still have a digital camera. But it is gathering dust more and more. All the work shown here is analog. I have my films developed at my trusted lab and scan the negatives myself.
Why I made the move is quite clear to me - I needed variety in my photography! Sure, I can make a digital image look analog. But the whole process behind it is quite different. If I have to scan 5 rolls of film, it takes me a day. But it's significantly more fun than editing digital images all day. It's just more exciting to see if the image turned out the way I wanted it to than to see 1000 digital images on a screen. So it's not just about the look, but more importantly the whole process behind it.
